Overview

The Master’s in ICT Applied to Education aims to train professionals capable of critically, creatively, and effectively integrating information and communication technologies across diverse educational contexts.

With a multidisciplinary approach, the program offers comprehensive training that spans the design, implementation, and evaluation of technological tools, as well as the development of applied research projects in educational settings.

General Objective

To train graduates with theoretical and methodological foundations in Education mediated by Information and Communication Technologies.

Specific Objectives

  • Develop proposals for educational innovation and transformation that involve integrating ICT, aligned with higher education standards and the professional field of practice.
  • Include ICT in teaching and learning processes by adopting new conceptual frameworks, knowledge schemas, and the use of new technology-specific tools.
  • Design projects that facilitate learning through the strategic and contextualized use of digital resources (strategies, media, and tools) grounded in the epistemic and didactic foundations of the discipline.
  • Prepare situational diagnoses to assess the possibilities and scope of ICT integration in specific educational and classroom contexts.
  • Understand the development of learning materials and objects mediated by ICT tools.
  • Evaluate educational designs and proposals that incorporate ICT tools as a strategic resource, both at the formulation stage and throughout implementation.
